Structural Biology

The Structural Biology Infrastructure activity of the Office of Biological and Environmental Research supports access to DOE’s national user facilities for studies in structural biology. These user facilities are available to academic, industrial, and government laboratory researchers.

The Structural Biology Infrastructure activity provides support for beamlines and end stations at the synchrotron light sources located at several National Laboratories:

User stations are supported at neutron beam facilities:

The Structural Biology Infrastructure activity contributes to the Federal government’s support for the Protein Data BankExternal link, the international database of three-dimensional structures of proteins, protein complexes, and other biological macromolecules.
