Observing the Sparks of Life

EFRC researchers isolate a photosynthetic complex — arguably the most important bit of organic chemistry on the planet — in its complete functioning state. This work, featured in the Office of Science’s Stories of Discovery & Innovation, was supported in part by the Photosynthetic Antenna Research Center (PARC), an EFRC led by Robert Blankenship at Washington University in St. Louis.
