The ISC’s Procurement divisions support customers in Office of Science (SC) Headquarters, SC Site Offices, and other DOE program offices. Our employees are procurement professionals who provide business advice and solutions. In an effort to obtain the most talented and experienced firms, the ISC places a high priority on outreach initiatives to attract a diverse range of businesses.
ISC procurement professionals provide a wide range of services including:
- Acquisition planning, conducting source selections (including development of solicitations and Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs), proposal evaluation and selection) negotiation activities, action award, contract extensions, award administration and closeout for all types of acquisition and assistance awards.
- Procurement policy guidance, senior level contracting advice, fee negotiation position development assistance, and guidance in developing annual performance measures and incentives.
- Independent reviews of major acquisition and assistance agreements and sub-agreements, and compliance with federal statutes and departmental acquisition and financial assistance regulations and policies.
The ISC procurement professionals hold formal certifications consistent with requirements of DOE’s Acquisition Certification Program for acquisition and assistance.
