DOE/NSF Nuclear Science Advisory Committee Meeting

Arlington, Virginia, at NSF headquarters, Room 375

Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting will be to:

  1. Receive and discuss the reports from the NSAC subcommittees on Nuclear Theory and Neutron Science.

  2. Receive a progress report from the NSAC subcommittee on Education

  3. Discuss a new charge for NSAC to establish a Committee of Visitors for the DOE Nuclear Physics Program.

  4. Discuss a new charge for NSAC to validate long-term performance measures and determine milestones for evaluation of progress towards reaching them for the DOE Nuclear Physics Program.
