Team Registration and Approval Guidelines: No registration fees. We accommodate 42 teams in the buzzer competition but also up to about 55 teams that include some second teams that participate only in the hands-on competition. Selection of second teams is based in part on success in previous years, making it to the top four teams and double elimination; numbers of years participating in the past as well as first come, first come first served in completing the online registration. We also require all participating teams teams to participate in the Mandatory Scrimmage to be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Teams may be denied if they fail to attend the Scrimmage.
